Container status, availability and fee/demurrage information shown in eModal™ is provided either by a shipping line or terminal operator so the process of updating or refreshing data is continual. In certain cases, updates may have been posted in one system, but the process to send it to eModal has not yet completed. Occasionally, there could also be issues with the originators (e.g. TOS or EDI program) that impacts ALL messages coming to eModal™ as well. When you feel there is a discrepancy between data in eModal and a host system, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

On average, between 2-4 weeks time is required to configure and launch an appointment or PreGate function within eModal™. This assumes that your facility already shares data with eModal™ or, if not, you're happy to use one of our existing interface message specifications (or an EDI message) to do so.
